D/2 Biological Solution

  • No Scrub/No Rinse Method
  1. Using a sprayer (pump-up, low pressure, or other,) wet the entire surface with D/2.
  2. Allow to air dry. D/2 works with the elements and results occur within one week to one month, depending on severity of soil. Reapply if rain occurs within 12 hours of application.
  • Immediate Results Method
  1. Apply D/2 with a brush, roller, or sprayer.
  2. Allow the undiluted D/2 to remain on the surface for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Apply additional D/2 to maintain a wet surface.
  4. Scrub the surface thoroughly with a non-metallic, short fibered scrub brush.
  5. Lightly mist with water and continue scrubbing.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water using a hose or sprayer.

Treatment and Maintenance Program

After initial treatment of substrate, a once-a-year light spraying will help maintain a clean, stain-free surface.

NOTE: Heavy biological deposits may require repeat applications of D/2 to achieve complete cleaning after detachment. Alternatively, heavy growth can be detached by manual scraping using wooden or plastic tools immediately after application. In the event of excessive plant exposure, rinse all plants and water-in all planted ground areas contacted by D/2.

Where to Use

D/2 Biological Solutions is designed to treat masonry, stone, concrete, wood, asphalt shingles, vinyl & aluminum siding, fiberglass, metal, paint, canvas, etc.

EXHIBITOR - Arphax Publishing

Welcome to the home of two critically acclaimed book-series: the Family Maps series of Land Patent Books and the Texas Land Survey Maps series. Our books are published county by county, state by state, for original settlers whose purchases are indexed either in the U.S. Bureau of Land Management database (www.glorecords.blm.gov/) or the Texas General Land Office database (http://www.glo.texas.gov/cf/land-grant-search/index.cfm). These are one-of-a-kind, customized maps and books created by attorney, software engineer, and family historian, Gregory A. Boyd.

For the first time, you can locate your ancestor's Federal or Texas land purchase by simply finding them in one of our indexes, which direct you to a map of first-land-owners. And now you can learn who your ancestors' neighbors were or the history of settlement in area of interest to you! The Family Maps and Texas Land Survey Maps books are a helpful visual reference tool that make your landowner and parcel-boundary research easier than ever.

EXHIBITOR - Abstracting the Past

With combined experience of over 50 years of conducting both personal and professional genealogical research, including working professionally for many years at the Clayton Genealogical Library in Houston, Texas, we understand the importance of sources that might not be immediately obvious to many researchers.

For example, the missing 1890 census and lack of consistent registration information of births and deaths until around 1933 make turn-of-the-century newspapers one of the most useful, and often overlooked, sources for vital records. However, it is extremely time-consuming to read the newspapers page by page looking for the names being researched. We have taken the time to do this for you, abstracting the pertinent information (such as births, marriages and deaths) into books, and indexing it for your convenience. The abstracted news items are not only valuable for genealogical research, but make for fascinating and entertaining reading, as well. We have also abstracted useful genealogical information from other little-known sources, such as military rolls and church records.

The informative books that result make an excellent addition to any genealogical collection or personal reference library. We also offer other books of genealogical and historical interest.

Please take some time to browse through the selections in our catalog. We encourage you to check back often, as we are continuously expanding upon our library as we work our way through the vast amount of sources that have not yet been tapped. To order, please mail a completed order form with your check or money order to the address listed on the form. We are pleased to offer special services for libraries; please contact us for more information before ordering.

EXHIBITOR - Dallas Genealogical Society

The Society was first known as the “Local History and Genealogical Society”.  Its first meeting was held 26 October 1954 when 22 people meet at the downtown Dallas YMCA to discuss having a society with goals to preserve heritage and records.

The first publication was a single page printed on both sides dated 21 February 1955.  In 1957 we began producing a Quarterly publication that continued until 1996 when we changed to an annual Journal.  Newsletters have been published since early in the society's existence.  Archived copies for years beginning 2002 are available under the Resources tab.

November 1955 is an important month in the history of the Society as that was the month the first night meeting was held at the library, the first clinic was held, and a Charter was obtained for a non-profit corporation domiciled in Texas.

Over the years meetings have been held during the day, at night, and alternating between the two.  Today we hold the general meetings the first Saturday of the month and have added monthly meetings for some special genealogically related interest groups.  We’ve had fall festivals, lecture series, and summer institutes to help educate and to raise funds.

Sometime over the years the Local History and Genealogical Society became the Dallas Genealogical Society.

The object of this Society shall be to educate by creating, fostering, and maintaining interest in genealogy; to assist and support the genealogy section of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library in Dallas, Texas or to its legal successor; and to collect, preserve, copy, and index information relating to Dallas County and its early history. We are a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation and a member of the National Genealogical Society (NGS) and the Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS).

The Dallas Genealogical Society has a long history of providing information of interest to Genealogists. The organization has donated thousands of dollars to the Dallas Public Library for the purchase of materials now located in the Genealogy section on the 8th floor of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library located in downtown Dallas.

General Meetings
General meetings are open to the public and are held the first Saturday of each month at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. Registration and social time begin at 10:30am.  A short Business meeting starts at 11:00am, followed by a program of interest to family history researchers from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

About Us

Just DVD It! was founded with the aim of helping families preserve precious memories.

We specialize in transferring consumer, professional and broadcast videotape formats to DVD. We transform your old fading memories into lasting Hollywood-style DVD productions that redefine the way you watch your home movies.

Unlike many video transfer companies, we don't outsource the work to a third-party production facility across the country. At Just DVD It!, everything is done in-house... in Arlington, TX. This guarantees quality control and gives you peace of mind that your tapes are safe and secure. Company founder, Gregg F. Primus, a former TV news photographer in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Atlanta, Ga. for 27 years, knows the value of high quality video and how to safeguard priceless memories. We use the most advanced equipment and technology available to capture and encode your video. As a growing company we are continually expanding and upgrading our software. Using hardware encoders, along with Sonic Solutions authoring technology, we’re able to create the film industry standard DVDs. Keep in mind that the quality of the transfer is determined upon the quality of the video submitted.

Our equipment includes: Sony PVW-2600 and 2650 Beta SP Pro decks, Sony J30 Beta SP/SX Pro decks, Panasonic AG-7650 VHS/S-VHS Pro decks, Sony VP-9000 U-Matic ¾ inch Pro decks, Sony DSR-1500A DVCAM/DVCPRO Pro decks, Sony EVO-9850A Hi8/Video 8/8MM Pro decks, Reflex X5 Pro CD/DVD Duplicator, Rimage Prism Plus and Everest II printers, Apple Mac Pro desktop computer with Final Cut video editing software, DVD Studio Pro DVD production software, and (2) Pioneer PRV-LX1 (stand-alone) DVD video recorders.
